Villarmentero de Compos to Calzadilla de la Cueza – 27.6km

Today brings us to two villages, the 4.2km and a 5.6km before we hit what many people bypass.

A stretch of 17+km of hiking, mostly flat, but nothing much to see. Walk a bit, rest and nibble and walk some More! Beth keeps setting visual cues to walk to so as to break up the day. We decide to not go any further as Beth’s right foot is hurting a bit.

This was indeed the most ho hum day of hiking. Early in the morning we happened upon this mosaic as we entered a village.
